Scarlett’s Self-Care Routine: Give You Priority!

Scarlett really believes in the need of self-care. Spending time for oneself is not selfish. She says, conviction evident, “It’s necessary.” For her, self-care is all about spotting tiny opportunities throughout the day to refresh.

Her morning self-care regimen begin with a soothing cup of herbal tea. Either peppermint or chamomile is great. Scarlett says, cradling the warm mug in her hands, “This is a straightforward approach to start my day on a calming note.”

Long, leisurely baths are Scarlett’s preferred self-care activity. She says, “I add some essential oil drops, light some candles, and just let the stress melt away.” She also likes using a face mask just at this time. “It like a home mini spa experience. My mind likes it, and so does my skin, she says laughing.

Scarlett spends some time in the evening journaling. “Putting my ideas down on paper helps me to sort through the day and empty my head. She describes it as akin to a mental cleanse. She ends with a little gentle stretching before bed. “A few light stretches improve my sleep,” Scarlett says.

Her guidance to anyone experiencing overload? “Even if you only spend a few minutes every day, give self-care top importance. You deserve that, she adds, beaming broadly.
