Gadot’s Paleo Snacks for Travel Energy

For Gadot, days are hardly the same. One minute she’s rushing between appointments, then hitting the trail the next.

She’s committed to the paleo lifestyle, so she quickly realized that hunger doesn’t wait for the perfect environment.

“I need food that moves with me,” Gadot says. “Something simple, quick, and satisfying.”

She started mass-prepping on Sundays to keep her schedule and sanity intact.

Cold chicken slices wrapped in lettuce, a handful of roasted almonds, and a piece of dark chocolate and dates give her comfort.

The biggest surprise for her has been not having to crash mid-afternoon or run last-minute errands. “I’ve learned to fuel with intention,” she says of paleo. “And that shows me the power of simplicity.”

Her friends also often snatch her snacks instead of their own. “You don’t need a full kitchen to eat well,” she replies, smiling. “A lot of almonds and a little preparation.”
