Gadot’s Favorite Plant-Based Dinner Bowls

A warm, vibrant plant-based bowl comforts Gadot after a demanding day.

Dinner for her is about winding down, re-connecting with the present moment, and savouring something both nutritious and substantial, not only about filling the stomach.

“I enjoy meals you can layer one upon another,” she explains. A excellent dinner bowl seems whole, as if it has everything you might possibly need. Furthermore true is this. Her favourite bowls are exquisitely balanced: protein, vegetables, good fats, and complex carbohydrates all come together in one delicious creation.

When Gadot wants something lighter, she usually starts with a good foundation—quinoa, brown rice, or even cauliflower rice. Then there are the roasted or sautéed veggies, carrots, zucchini, broccoli, or anything seasonal. These bowls capture her taste for fresh, vivid cuisine.

For plant-based protein, she also loves adding tofu or lentils; then, she drizzles everything with a creamy tahini sauce or a tart vinaigrette. She giggles, “Sauces make everything come alive.” She is also right—often the soul of the bowl is her dressings.

These dinners are especially memorable because they are so easy. Gadot only listens to what her body requires; she does not follow exact recipes. Some evenings are green and spicy chickpeas. Other times it is avocado and sweet potatoes topped with sesame seeds.

Though the bowls are aesthetically beautiful, they are never fussy. “This is about simplicity,” she says. “Good ingredients, cooked with attention.”
